What you’ll need
Birth date: Month, day, and year.
Birth time: The time you were born, including a.m. or p.m. Check your birth certificate or hospital records if you have them. Your birth time helps determine your Rising sign and houses, the areas of life represented in your chart.
Birthplace: The city or town, state or region, and country where you were born.
Create your free chart
Enter your birth date and time. Use the local time recorded at your birth. If the form uses a 24-hour clock, 2:30 p.m. is 14:30.
Enter your birthplace. Select the correct location from the suggestions.
Open “Extended settings.” Under “House system,” choose Porphyry, the system I use in my workshops. Leave the other settings unchanged.
Calculate your chart. Save or print your chart to use with your workbook or bring to a workshop.
You don’t need to understand every symbol to begin. Your workbook or workshop will guide you through the placements relevant to you.
Don’t know your birth time?
No problem. Choose the unknown-time option instead of guessing.
Without a reliable birth time, we can explore many planetary placements, but we won’t have a dependable Rising sign or house placements. Your Moon sign may also be uncertain if it changed signs that day.
